The
W.M. Keck Conservation and Molecular Genetics Laboratory is located
at UNO Main Campus, on the first floor in the Biology Building,
room suite 106-109. |

 |
 |
|
It
is housed in approximately 1600 square feet of space and divided
into a primary wet laboratory and 4 smaller adjacent laboratories.
The wet laboratory houses equipment for genomic analysis including
thermal cyclers, electrophoresis equipment and standard laboratory
gear. Each adjacent smaller laboratory room is dedicated to one
of the following instrumentation systems: high performance liquid
chromatography, automated DNA sequencer, molecular imaging and documentation,
and an isolated laboratory for research on mammalian DNA. A computer
server and networked computers are available for analysis of genetic
data. |
